We collect as little as possible: anonymous page analytics, and an email address only if you give us one. No accounts, no tracking across sites, no sale of data.
Who is responsible. This site is operated by HalalScreener, contactable at hello@halalscreener.app.
What we collect automatically. Aggregate, privacy-preserving page analytics (page views, country, device type, referrer) through Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or identify individuals. If Google Analytics is enabled, IP addresses are anonymised and we do not use advertising features. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs for security.
What you may give us. If you enter your email address in the notification form, we store it to send you occasional updates about this site's topics. We send it to our email provider (Resend) for delivery and to a notification mailbox at HalalScreener. We do not sell or share it with anyone else. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe, or you can email hello@halalscreener.app and we will delete it.
Cookies. This site sets no cookies for tracking. If advertising is introduced in future, we will add a consent mechanism where the law requires one and update this page first.
Links. Pages link to external sources and to HalalScreener. Those sites have their own privacy policies. Links to HalalScreener carry a parameter identifying this site as the referrer.
Your rights. You can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to processing, by emailing hello@halalscreener.app. We respond within 30 days.
Changes. We will update this page when our practices change and show the date at the top.
